It’s now time to take action! Your Tasks
We would like you to add up your voice and ideas to our ongoing conversation about PLNs by undertaking one or more of these challenges:
1. Review our list of popular curation tools. Leave a comment on this post to share what tools you currently use and why for news discovery, curation, and sharing. Tells us which of the curation tools you plan to try and why. Do you have any other tools to add that you have tried or heard about?
The Basics of Content Curation will be successful in the long run:

- Editorialize, for example...Add information throughout add your own annotations, select a favorite quote, consider your audience, summarize, connect with other work. So CREATE ...
- Share, for example... write a blog post ( edu75pt.blogspot.com), share to social media (@ninisn), compile a Padlet, Google Doc ( Google +) or Wakelet.
- note: Remember to give credit and interact.
“ I spent the most time on this post of all the PLN posts so far, taking a few days to check out the various tools.” said Lydia Rogers in his link: http://professorlydiarogers.edublogs.org/
Another tweet I have learned from Stephen Obasun he says:” I currently use Flipboard to curate content most especially , and it’s been a wonderful experience.” His username on Flipboard is @stephenobasun1 and followers will find their four magazines interesting, most especially #edublogs magazine.
3. Write a post on your blog. Share your own thoughts about curation. In your blog post , you might like to cover topics like:
-What do you see as the advantages of curating content? When we teach our students to write for digital media , it sends a message that our assignments are relevant , exciting and important.
- What tips do you have for newbies? Go deeper and write a blog post with your own thoughts about content curation.
- How could you teach your students something about content curation? To find a Tweet where someone has curated some information in a interesting way.
